When you come across a USB device in the wild, it is common to experiment with it. In fact, when you have a USB device that does not have a label or other identifying information, that is how you’ll be able to use it. However, if the USB device has a label on it and/or the company name included in the model number of your computer, then there should be no need to experiment with them. Crypto Box by Marx is one such USB device. It was selling for $400 on Amazon until someone released software online claiming to crack open Crypto Boxes from Windows 10 computers. Crypto Box is a USB device that puts your data at risk of being stolen. The device is supposed to be used to protect and secure your data but instead, this USB device serves only to allow even more potential theft of your data. It is a small medium-sized rectangle box that can be inserted into any computer or laptop and it will search for documents containing sensitive data such as company names, login code, bank information, etc. The box then encrypts the sensitive data and transfers it to the cloud for safety purposes. Anyone who wants to access the encrypted files must then pay $400 for an unlock key that allows them access to the encrypted files. Crypto Box has other features that are not easily accessible to the general public. A simple search of the Marx Crypto Box will bring up information regarding this device but other important features that are not easily accessible to the general public will also be discovered. If you were to conduct a Google search for the phrase “Marx Crypto Box bypass” you will be brought to a video where a woman is showing off “EaseUS Todo Backup Free” software which is being used on her computer in order to bypass the box and decrypt encrypted files stored inside it without paying $400 for an unlock key. The Crypto Boxes are vulnerable to attack because it uses AES-128 encryption. The AES-128 encryption is not considered secure enough for the job at hand because the key is equal to 128 bits in length. This means that there are 256 possibilities for each key that must be tried before the correct one is found. So, the chance of guessing a 128-bit key is very small. It’s known that this software can access all files on Crypto Box but it cannot access files encrypted with other encryption standards so, you could encrypt your files using other standards before using Crypto Box to encrypt them.http://www.hackread. com/2016/01/dutch-students-launch-software-crack-marxs-crypto-box-usb.html http://www.zdnet.com/article/software-cracks-marxs-encrypted-data-boxes-for-$400/ http://www.zdnet.com/article/cryptoboxes--just--the--latest--in--controversial--data-security/ https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/#q=cache:PZ6GZ92gZkIJ:https://supportlisten. eccc085e13
